Frequently Asked Questions

Is this an All-Star Team?

Well, no. We are a non-affiliated (NA) recreation team. This means we are an independent organization that does not cheer for a supported sports program. Our program will provide the All-Star feel without the heavy price tag and exhaustive travel commitment. The team was created strictly for performing and competing with "no football games to attend".

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! We will work with you. We have a few different options for you to choose from. We also offer fundraising opportunities to assist with the financial commitment. We understand that cheer is an expensive sport and we strive to keep our program affordable and attainable for all economic backgrounds.

Where are competitions and performances?

Competitions and performances are held locally in Southern California, with the exception of a possible National competition in either San Diego, CA or Las Vegas, NV for our competitive teams.

Your athlete's participation is covered at all performance events only. You will be responsible for you and your families own lodging, travel expenses, parking and spectator fees.
If a competition or performance is held at a theme park, there is a cost for the spectators park-entry and parking fees for friends and family members.

What is a Performance Team?

Remedy has a performance team which is a 6 month program that will begin in October of each year and run to March of the following year. This team will learn the fundamentals of cheer and dance, tumbling and stunting in a choreographed environment.
The program includes your athletes uniform and 2-3 cheer performances at a local cheer competition. The teams will perform, but will not compete.
Our performance team allows for an amazing and genuine experience with low cost and minimal time commitment.

COVID-19 Health and Safety?

Safety is and always will be our number one priority at Remedy Athletix. To keep your athlete and family safe we have implemented the following:

1.Pre-practice Health Questionnaire - An electronic questionnaire will be required prior to practice by each athlete and coach. The form will be available for you to complete either on your computer or cellular device.

2. Mask Wearing - Masks are required for athletes and coaches. We will not require masks during tumbling, and heavy conditioning for example. When masks are not being worn athletes will be required to remain 6' feet or more a part (if possible).

3. Sanitation stations - Sanitation stations will be available before, during and after practice. Athletes will be encouraged to wash their hands during practice. All shared equipment will be sanitized.

IMPORTANT - If your child is experiencing COVID symptoms; Fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting or diarrhea, we ask that your child not attend practice for at least 10 days and should be scheduled for a COVID-19 test.
As we cautiously begin to start our NEW season, we hope this gives you comfort that your child's health and safety if at the forefront of all we do!
